For this current project, we are excavating and grading for a new school in Northwest ISD behind the existing elementary school. The first phase of excavation for the project requires removing existing soils beneath the footprint of the new school to weathered limestone installing select fill and 6” of recycled flex base under the new slab. The new paving is receiving a lime stabilized subgrade. Once phase one is complete and the new school is open, the old school will be demolished.
